Last night was solid. Really incredible poetry. An absolutely packed Kafe Kerouac saw a great slam battle that Writers Block won. Home ice baby!

I've been a part of this group for almost three years. It keeps getting better.

Rain and high wind. There's going to be fear at Crew Stadium tonight as USA takes on Mexico. What's the ball going to do?

power's back on at ackerman. n. has no school, but his mother is able to bring him to work.

tonight it's open mic at kafe kerouac. i think we need this. starts at eight. i have two and a half new ones, and that does not include what i'm saving for friday. i'm nearly oozing poetry!

I was listening to Scott, Louise, Amy and Steve on WOSU this morning. They were talking about poetry and they inspired me to write about something that's been in my head for awhile. Managed to crawl out of bed. Still recovering from the onslaught of quality work. I'm paralyzed right now. At least I'm reading something decent, and I have not put Wonder Dave's CD on yet.
